Ruby's various adventures include modeling and Television work in Asia. Training in Musical Theater, and singing and writing with various bands in London. An opportunity to open the notorious Met Bar at the Metropolitan Hotel, resulted in connecting with some of the most renown talents in fashion, entertainment and pop culture of the late 90’s.

In New York in the early aughts, Ruby worked in the lifestyle hotel world for Ian Schrager Hotels and The Bowery. Ruby then launched Referred By Ruby, a platform connecting her super fabulous clientele to luxury hotels and homes. RBR eventually moved to Los Angeles expanding into the real estate world of sales and high end rentals.
